The Asia Cup Cricket 2014 kicks off today in Fatullah, Bangladesh. The teams taking part in the 2014 tournament are India, Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

Defending champions, Pakistan take on four time Asia Cup winners, Srilanka in the first match of Asia Cup Cricket 2014 today, February 25th, 2014. Pakistan beat Srilanka 3-2 in their most recent ODI series encounter in December, 2013. This match will be a contest between Pakistan’s bowlers and Sri Lankan batsmen.

The two week long Asia Cup Cricket 2014 tournament taking place in Bangladesh has proven to be an exciting series over the years. Even though India (five time Asia Cup champions), Pakistan and Srilanka are the clear favorites, no team can be written off as proven by Bangladesh, one of the weaker teams, being able to get to the final of the 2012 Asia Cup Cricket tournament.
